Hello, visited your site again today. I do quite often to
see what you're up to and feel guilty when I don't sign
your guestbook. I was so startled to see your
granddaughter and so excited and happy for you. I saw her
face all day yesterday at various times. She must make
your heart want to burst.
I haven't started on the web page. I've been swamped at work. SOB! Today is Saturday and I hope to get some cozy-type, feel-good things done today!!
Yes, about the dentist thing...now that I know you're still in Israel, every time something comes on the news about an attack there, I'm more glued than ever.
It's funny, somehow I just thought that you were back in the States. I wonder you people over there must think about our school shootings!? Although they seem so remote to me, even as the problems in Israel seem so remote. I think maybe it doesn't seem real and that's why your things like going to the dentist are the scary things...because it's reality for you right then. (?)

It's the strangest thing.
My friend Ida (we work together) was going on and on
about having to go to the dentist and how frightened she
is. I mean here we are facing terrorist attacks EVERY DAY!
Israel: [the news] but I guess this is our way of
coping with our frustration and feelings of hopelessness.

masks and costumes. On this holiday we can wear a new
identity and become anyone or anything we'd like. Last
year at Purim my friends and I went up to Zefat (Safed)
to spend the weekend at Ascent and it was such a fulfilling
spiritual experience -- and so much fun. Celebrating with
Chabad is absolutely enriching and a memorable experience.

I spent the whole day
yesterday visiting blogs - shoot me! this is what I like
to do. h-y-p-h-e-n-s - absolutely breathtaking!!! momblog - heartwarming. In between I am learning
more about how to blog in general cause I'm a...

As you can see I'm making
progress and I've added a 'profile' to my blog. I know I
should have an 'about me' page done and I will - I'm just
a little slow. In the meanwhile, there is a picture of me
in my Nar-Anon page if you want to see what I
look like.
I don't believe I got
through the day. I had such a bad time emotionally at
work today. I constantly fall into the same traps and I
don't learn! - to keep my mouth shut! At least I don't
have to see that place until sunday. I need a vacation...

Our new way of life is intended to produce growth. But growth takes work. And work needs play for balance. If we forget to play and be joyful, our life will become unbalanced and we will suffer needlessly.
Have I found some balance in my life?

I can't get over my excitement. I received an e-mail from a High School girlfriend who found me through classmates.com Considering we graduated from High School in 1969 and the fact that after graduating I moved back to Israel, I think that is really something!
